About This Role

We are seeking experienced Backend/Cloud Developers to join our development team. Your initial focus will be the integration of a new Marketplace platform with our internal centralized product data system. You will be responsible for building the pipes that handle everything from product and offer data to complex financial flows like payments and reconciliation. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver robust, scalable integrations and help lay the technical foundation for future capabilities.

•Design and implement backend integrations between the Marketplace platform and internal systems, handling product, offer, payment, and financial reconciliation data flows.
•Develop and maintain APIs and data pipelines for catalog management, pricing, availability, and transaction processing.
•Collaborate with architects and product owners to refine technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
•Ensure data consistency, security, and performance across distributed systems with a focus on transactional accuracy.
•Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and support troubleshooting and optimization of integration processes.

What We Are Looking For

Required skills and qualifications

1. What We Are Looking For

Strong backend experience with TypeScript and Node.js, plus deep knowledge of AWS cloud-native services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway).
Proficiency in event-driven architecture using Kafka for high-volume data streams.
Proven Infrastructure as Code skills with CDK, Serverless Framework, and Terraform.
Solid API design experience (RESTful, auth, security) and data modeling/ETL pipeline implementation.
Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams
good English, Finnish is a plus.

2. Bonus

Familiarity with PIM systems, e-commerce data flows, or financial ledger systems.
Experience working in agile teams and with consultancy partners.

10. How We Work:

•This is a hybrid role based in Helsinki. You'll come into the office 2–3 days per week — enough to stay connected with the team — and work the rest of the time remotely. Core hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 1.5-hour lunch break built into the day. We find this rhythm gives people the focus time they need while keeping collaboration strong.
