What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities in this role

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing systems.
Work with AWS cloud services to develop robust, secure, and cost-efficient data infrastructure.
Implement and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for both structured and unstructured data.
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Build real-time streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka and distributed computation frameworks.
Ensure data quality, observability, and monitoring across the entire data lifecycle.
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable GPU-accelerated data processing and model deployment.
Apply data governance, compliance, and security best practices within enterprise environments.

What We Are Looking For

Required skills and qualifications

1. Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS: Redshift, Lake Formation, S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, RDS
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline.

2. Big Data & Distributed Processing

Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL).
Apache Kafka (event streaming & real-time processing).
Databricks (optional, but a strong advantage).

3. Programming & Frameworks

Python: Data workflows, orchestration, automation.
SQL: Data modeling, partitioning, optimization (DBT preferred).
Distributed frameworks: Dask, Ray (where applicable).

4. Data Governance & Security

AWS Lake Formation: Access control, data cataloging.
IAM & KMS: Identity, authorization, encryption.
Compliance frameworks: GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001.

5. AI/ML Enablement

Nvidia RAPIDS: GPU-accelerated data processing.
Triton Inference Server: Scalable model deployment.
MLOps: Integration with SageMaker, MLflow, custom pipelines.

6. Monitoring & Observability

CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
Data quality tools: Great Expectations, Monte Carlo (optional).
Nice-to-Have
Experience with data lakehouse architecture.
Familiarity with ML engineering workflows.
Experience in high-volume e-commerce, fintech, or enterprise systems.
Knowledge of Airflow, Dagster, or similar orchestrators.

4. LOCATION & WORKING HOURS

•Location: Dong Do Apartment Building, Nghia Do Street, Nghia Do Ward, Hanoi.
•Working days: 5 days per week, 7.5 working hours per day, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (including a 1.5-hour lunch break). Days off: Saturdays, Sundays, and Vietnamese public holidays.
